GREAT NEWS
THE MOBILE CLINIC TO
REACH
THE POOR PEOPLE IS REALITY
After the very first few clinics
were completed, the foundation board members
agreed that a mobile vision clinic would so much more efficient practical.
The first clinic was held July 2005 in Maao, Bago City, Negros , The Philippines.
Thanks to very caring and giving Corporate, Individual and service organizations
the money was raised. The mobile clinic was used in its last medical vision
mission from December 2007 to mid January 2008. It enabled the volunteers to go
to more remote villages and they could see more people per day.The mobile
clinic will be able not only be able to serve more patients on
Negros Occidental Island, but to many of the neighboring islands as well.( Remember, there are
over 7,100 islands in the Philippines.) It can be transported by ferry boat to
many of the islands. EyeCare WeCare Foundation would do its best to help other
volunteer health care organizations ,serving in the Philippines, needing vision
supplies and services. We could send a mobile clinic to where the missions
are taking place whenever possible.
